Monday, September 2 / Labor Day

We're pleased to announce we are bringing back last year's very popular Labor Day Street Fair and adding a Kinetic Sculpture Derby. What could be a more fun and memorable way to showcase your business than with a Kinetic Sculpture! The day will begin with a Kinetic Sculpture Parade. This new and extremely fun event features Human Powered Works of Art (kinetic sculptures) that will be raced from Monument to Palmer Lake and back. While we're waiting to cheer in the winners, enjoy the street fair which will include food and business vendors, games for children in Limbach Park and a beer and wine garden. If you've never heard of a kinetic sculpture, or you have and always wanted to build and race one, contact the Chamber or the Diet Center for information, pictures, and entry forms. Many fun and silly rules and activities will be included in this event, and a good time will be had by all. Enter your team in this day of adventure and silliness for the young and young-at-heart!
