State of the Tri-Lakes Region

At the beginning of each year, the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation and Visitor Center hosts a luncheon to review the past year and to look forward to the new year from the Northern El Paso County perspective. Speakers include County Commissioners, local Mayors, and Town Trustees, all giving their views of what’s going on in their territories and their predictions for the future.
In 2018 the luncheon will be held at Great Wolf Lodge, with speakers including Stan VanderWerf, County Commissioner, District 3; Darryl Glenn, County Commissioner, District 1; and additional elected officials to be announced later. The event will be on January 31 from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM, with check in starting at 11:00 AM. You must register in advance for this lunch: $37 for Members; $42 for Non-Members.
​In 2017, the luncheon was held at Great Wolf Lodge with speeches by Stan VanderWerf, County Commissioner, District 3; Don Wilson, Town of Monument Mayor Pro Tem; and John Cressman, Mayor of Palmer Lake. Stan VanderWerf presented a Power Point presentation packed with information. Terri Hayes, President and CEO of the Chamber, also spoke.
